Who thought this one up?

SkateboardSpots grew mainly from a need of a group of friends. Everytime that the friends wanted to go skateboard, they were left trying to figure out where exactly to go. SkateboardSpots was just an idea to help them figure out where to go. But what it has and will become has grown.. SkateboardSpots now wishes to become the online meeting place of a very specific group, Skateboarders. We wish to be an entirely different form of communication, and entertainment on the web. One that has not been experienced by skateboarders, or the public in general on the web before. SkateboardSpots has tried to build an arena that actually is a worthwhile destination for Skateboarders. The offerings catered to Skateboarders on the web preceeding SkateboardSpots have been in our opinion, just plain boring. They follow the model of a magazine with perhaps a message board thrown in for some basic interactivity and a shop to further there financial goals. SkateboardSpots will be different. Skatebioardspots wants to become an extension of the attitude expressed by Skateboarding. We have tried to construct an Enviornment that gives several different forms for interaction and resources to the Skateboard community. And we have done so the only way we know how, as Skateboarders. The site contains four specific areas that differentiate it from the staleness of current Skateboard sites.

A place to go on the web is the ultimate goal of SkateboardSpots. We have seen what has been offered to Skateboarders previously, and want to provide something completely different. A site that is worthwhile visiting. Skateboarders are a naturally innovative and creative group of people, and the static Skateboarding newspaper sites that exist on the web, just dont cut it in our opinion. We wanted something different, something interactive, and something useful; that is why this site exists. To provide a place that Skateboarders will appreciate, use and return to. If you ever feel we have missed our goal, please let us know.

So who is behind this?- SkateboardSpots is the product of three friends from Phoenix AZ. It started as the idea of Tim and Sean. They later added longtime friend and Skateboarder George to the team. This site is ran 100% by people who have grown up on Skateboarding. We are three individuals who experienced there teenage years on a Skateboard and loved every minute of it. This site is our way of giving something back to Skateboarding.

  • Sean-Sean is the computer nerd of the site. Everything you see here is a product of his Friday nights. He handles the design, coding etc. needed to keep SkateboardSpots up and running. He also plays a big role in the ideas that become new areas to the site. sean@skateboardspots.com
  • Tim-If Sean comes up with the Ideas, Tim figures out what will and wont work. Tim posses the quality to see the loopholes, pits and shortcomings of Sean's Ideas. But he also is the one who can figure out how to make them work. tim@skateboardspots.com
  • George-George is the talker. He is the guy that will tell you about SkateboardSpots and make you fall in love with the idea. He is also involved in the development of new areas to the site. george@skateboardspots.com
